Brake Testers

Our BM Autoteknik brake testers which are manufactured in Denmark to the highest of standards, are recognised as the best units on the market for testing both car and commercial vehicles.

Our BM7010 brake tester standard class 4 MOT brake tester (for cars) is available with a retrofit frame to allow customers with Crypton 660/Kismet 1300 brake testers to replace their machines without the need for costly civil works.

In our MOT/ATL programme for classes 4 & 7 full ATL, our brake testers are PDA operated and can be linked to our GAS & SMOKE analysers.

When it comes to testing of commercial vehicles, we are able to offer two types of commercial brake testers. The BM12200 In-ground (VOSA-SPEC) which is fully ATF approved for one man testing of classes IV, VL, V, VII and the BM20200 mobile unit.

The BM12200 features robust 15kw motors and is not only a brake tester, but can be used for tachograph testing, the first unit to be approved for this in the U.K. The tachograph add on is available as both factory fit or retrofit.

The BM20200, which uses the same database as the BM12200 is a trully mobile brake tester and unlike some other units on the market does not require a forklift tuck to move. This unit is also ideal for outdoor use which helps keep your workshop available for other tasks.
